when we sign into our budget, we don't see the dashboard anymore, just a description of the budget services, altho we are signed in. is there a different way to get there?

Hi Sean,
The dashboard will start reporting when you add some transactions.

thank you for the quick response! i thought that might be it, but we've got lots of transactions from all summer. i added one for september but it still doesnt show up. will that change once there are more for this month?

Dashboard is monthly, it should show September now, but it is too early and if you don't have any transactions, it won't show up.
You can add future transactions if you know they are coming in and they are not in recurring already.
There are three parts to the dashboard.
Regular transactions, you need to have expenses and income to show the balances. Just expenses would not show anything since there is no budget to balance.
You need categories with limits to show the overspend warnings
You need recurring transactions to show upcoming expenses
Hope this clarifies a bit :)
